Dave Nieuwstraten has over 14 years of marketing and research experience in the independent telecommunications industry. Prior to founding the Pivot Group, Dave held senior marketing positions for GVNW Consulting, Cathey, Hutton & Associates (now CHR Solutions), and BCT, a full-service Independent telecom provider in Oregon. While at BCT he helped launch their CLEC and competitive cable TV businesses and implemented marketing programs that resulted in industry leading product penetration rates. Dave has a business degree, with a marketing emphasis, from San Diego State University. He has also completed the AMA School of Marketing Research, University of Notre Dame. Dave serves on the board of directors of NTCA's Foundation for Rural Service. He also serves on the marketing committees for various associations including RICA, OPASTCO, and the Oregon Telecommunications Association. Dave Nieuwstraten is a frequent writer and speaker on research and marketing-related topics including strategy, product development, advertising, and pricing/bundling. He is also the research manager for NTCA's annual Marketing & Benchmark Survey.

Bernardin Arnason (Bernie) is a well-respected leader within the independent telecom industry and is a frequent speaker and panelist at regional and national events. Prior to Pivot Group, Bernie spent seven years with the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) as the vice president of business development. He also worked for Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) in network operations, where he led a team in the large business/special services group. Bernie has a comprehensive understanding of the telecom industry and brings a wealth of experience in IPTV, broadband, wireless and next generation telecom strategies. He has an extensive network throughout the telecom industry. Bernie holds a bachelor of arts in Economics from the University of the District of Columbia and a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the Johns Hopkins University.

Erik Doescher has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 11 years, specializing in marketing communications, strategic planning, and business development. Erik's specific skills include the development and implementation of marketing plans, advertising and promotions; copywriting and copyediting; branding and image strategies; public relations; and effective data utilization. Erik's experience includes working for both ILECs and CLECs as a freelance marketing consultant, and he has also held positions as the head of marketing for two Oregon communications companies. In addition, Erik has worked as an auditor/accountant for a Portland public accounting firm. Erik holds a bachelor's of science in Advertising Management and a bachelor's of science in Accounting, both from Portland State University.

Monica Santi's client projects include IPTV launches, bundling initiatives, Web site redesigns, and marketing consulting. Previous to joining Pivot, Monica spent seven years as the marketing manager for Canby Telephone Association (CTA). Under Monica's leadership, CTA's marketing department developed and launched the company's first bundled service offerings which resulted in considerable growth in product penetration and revenue. She also developed the marketing and product strategy for CTA's IPTV services. Monica is a past recipient of NTCA's Marketing Achievement Award of Excellence. Prior to joining the telecommunications industry, Monica spent six years in non-profit management and two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay, South America.

Patricia Ciliberti's research background includes doctoral-level experience in multi-site survey design, including research design, implementation, analysis, reporting, and presentation. Her specialization includes providing custom research designs to meet critical management needs of top marketing executives and company principals. She has worked with clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Certified Angus Beef, Oregon Lottery, Portland General Electric, and many more. Patricia has been selected as the featured or keynote speaker for numerous organizations including the Software Association of Oregon, Deloitte & Touche, and the Women's Entrepreneurial Organization of Washington. Patricia received her Ph.D., Social Work and Social Research, from Portland State University and has served as the president of the Oregon Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
